LiteLok

Situation

LiteLok, a long-term client, required continuous strategic and technical support to scale their global e-commerce operation. Over several years, challenges included needing a multi-store setup to manage international sales, the complexity of managing these separate stores, and the ongoing need for bespoke functional enhancements to improve customer experience.

Task

Our role was to act as an ongoing technical consultant, managing the evolution of their e-commerce presence. This involved major strategic re-architecting projects, such as the initial data migration to a multi-store setup and subsequent consolidation using new platform features, alongside continuous front-end development and UX improvements.

Action

  • Led a major strategic data migration from their original single Shopify instance to six individual, country-specific Shopify stores to effectively manage global sales and complex territorial requirements.
  • Spearheaded the subsequent re-architecting and consolidation of the six stores back into a centralized platform utilizing the launch of Shopify Markets functionality, significantly reducing administrative overhead and maintenance effort.
  • Provided ongoing technical consultancy to implement key customer-facing features, including custom product page accordion drop-downs and a geo-location based country selection tool for redirecting users to the correct store.
  • Executed periodic design refreshes and provided consistent technical oversight across their website over a six-year period.

Result

Delivered a sustainable and efficient global e-commerce architecture by managing the complex lifecycle from single-store to multi-store, and finally to a centralized Shopify Markets setup. This strategic evolution dramatically reduced the client’s maintenance burden while the continuous UX improvements (e.g., country selectors, custom product pages) ensured the platform remained high-converting and aligned with evolving customer needs.
