Situation

The Tibr Quoting System, a complex sales tool, required significant feature expansion and a major technical overhaul to improve reliability, speed, and connectivity with critical back-office systems. The existing architecture and older API integrations (specifically Xero 9) limited its enterprise utility.

Task

Our team was brought in as a specialist resource to enhance the system’s robustness, optimize performance, and integrate it with key financial and CRM platforms (NetSuite, HubSpot, and Xero) to streamline the quote-to-cash process for complex transactions.

Action

  • Led the integration efforts for three critical third-party systems, enabling seamless data flow between the quoting portal and the business’s operational platforms.
    • Developed a NetSuite integration allowing users to effortlessly push complex quote data from Tibr into NetSuite for final processing.
    • Created a bi-directional HubSpot integration to sync deal and pipeline data, ensuring sales activity and stages were accurately reflected in both Tibr and the CRM.
    • Integrated with Xero to automate the creation and synchronization of purchase orders and invoices, along with associated contact and company records.
  • Modernized the financial backbone of the application by performing a major migration and upgrade from Xero API version 9 to 11.
  • Conducted system-wide refactoring and performance optimization, specifically targeting and resolving slow SQL queries to improve overall loading speeds and user experience.

Result

Successfully transformed Tibr into a robust, enterprise-grade quoting system deeply integrated with core business tools. The comprehensive API work eliminated manual data entry for sales, finance, and CRM teams, significantly reducing errors and accelerating the quote-to-cash cycle. The architectural optimization and Xero upgrade improved system reliability and speed, supporting higher transaction volumes.
