Grow Cardiff: A New Shop Window for a Community Growing Charity

Grow Cardiff had a website which had been built using WIX that was hard to update, inconsistent across pages and needed bringing up to date with fresh branding and content.
They approached me with a brief of building them a new website which would accurately represent their brand and be a proper shop window when funders and donors were researching the charity in more detail.
I worked directly with the team at Grow Cardiff to create a new website design and layout that would more closely reflect them as a brand, while also making it easy for people visiting the site to find out more information on what they do as a charity and how to donate.
A custom web design was created, with a number of brand elements to pepper throughout the site (a plant stake to display titles, a daffodil for placeholder images and some tomatoes to close off some content sections).
The final project included:
- Migration and restructure of content from WIX to WordPress
- Custom designed theme with bespoke illustration elements
- Consultancy on donation platforms to use with the site
- Implementation of bilingual functionality
